Sometimes my goal is just to survive the day.  My son left on deployment shortly after my surgery, and sometimes my house seems small and closes in and I just want to survive the day....lol.

I hear you Lynne.  I'm sure having a son leave on deployment is super tough.  (((HUGS!)))

I've hit a stall so my goals this week are based on getting out of it!

-Up my protein...only getting around 40grams per day, I'm going to try for 60 grams per day! - doing ok with this, I hit close to 60 and over 60 a few days this week

-Must up my fluids and keep track of them! doing ok with this too but still not really keeping track

-Keep carbs under 40grams per day I only messed this up one day this week :)

-Exercise at least 3 times this week (I failed last week) I did it! Worked out Mon, Tues, & Wed...I will try to get a workout in tomorrow but Saturday is spa day with my girls! :)

I will report tomorrow if any of these *slight* changes made a difference in my weight this week.  Hopefully they did!

band to sleeve revision and loving life!

You do you, and I'll do me

1. Shoot for being in bed by 10:30 on work nights (unless I get a nap).

Well, I've missed this one twice so far.

2. Get some "new" work clothes, the current ones are about to fall off of me.

Found 2 suits and a shirt at the thrift store, and 2 pair of pants on a clearance rack. Now I can get through for a little while.

3. Practice the Waltz with DH from our instructional DVD at least twice before our next dance class on Saturday night.

Well, we'll probably only get one practice in, his homework load right now is just insane.

4. Do at least one 6 mile walk/run this week.

I have until Sunday for this, right?

Well not sure if I am still on track...

Now that I have a better control of my protein it is time to focus on others.

1. I will get all my vitamins in all week long - OK, well I have made 3 of the 4 days so far. Not bad.

2. Manage at least 6 glasses of water a day. - Doing really good on this one. I have been doing 2-16.9 oz bottles, then another 20 oz at night.

3. I will start slowly on an exercise program. - This one is starting much slower than I had hoped. Not sleeping well at night makes it hard to keep up the motivation to exercise. But I still want to try to get something in.

1.  Go to bed by 11pm (will work down to 10 or 10:30 pm eventually)

2.  Wake up at 6:30am (will work down to 5:30 am eventually to get in some exercise)

3.  Walk at lunch every day.

So far I've been managing to get this all done.  Back to work yesterday and feeling very energetic!
