Been really bad about keeping track and have not lost anything in 4 months. I know it is all my fault. I was not exercising and eating way too many carbs. They are really slider foods for me. :( I now know that it is up to me to get the next 25 pounds off and I will. I thought if I posted what I am eating you all could keep me motivated and accountable. So Wasa is 11 carbs each should I drop that?
Bread is a trigger for me...I can't eat it...because I love it...so I am staying away from it and 2 slices is 22 grams of carbs...now I now that some will disagree with me...but I wouldn't eat it...if you want to get back and really start losing I would get my carbs from veggies and leave the bread behind until you hit your goal. Now, let me say I am only 7 weeks out and I am subscribing to the Ms. Shell, Elina, Keith way of eating. It is really working for me and my research says it will take off the weight the fastest...which I am all about...lol. Congrats on being accountable, I think just that will help you.
B - Syntrax Nectar Double Stuffed Cookie (it was only ok)
S - 2% Cottage Cheese Cup
L - Beef Crack Slaw (google this, it is really good!)
D - Steak and Salad
S - Dunno Yet
W - On Track
V - Yep, still haven't started taking everything yet, very gun shy (although I think leaving out the extras I was taking is leading me to have cravings and hunder)
E - Taking a break tonight
G - Got good sleep last night, cabbage in my lunch for veggies, and I met my goal last week of getting to the gym 6 times.
That may have been a bit misleading. I have been eating very clean for a while so I am interpreting my cravings and hunger as my body is not getting something it needs. In addition to my daily multi-vitamin I was taking extra biotin, extra B-12, extra B-6, extra vitamin D, and Turmeric (sooths inflammation). Since I have stopped those I have noticed that I am frequently hungry and have had cravings. If I had to guess it is the biotin or b12 causing this.
My more recent discovery is that when I go through periods of low fat that is when I stall. So I have been trying to keep my fat intake to around 35 or 45 grams per day now to see if I can stop from stalling. My scale started moving again on Saturday but it is moving slowly, so I am not sure I have the right balance just yet.
There are many on here that would argue with me but I don't think there is anything wrong with having a bite of something to satisfy a craving as long as it is only a bite and it doesn't trigger a landslide. The problem is for most people it will trigger a landslide.
If you are having real physical hunger try upping your antacid meds. When I feel what I used to interpret as actual hunger Prevacid 30 to 60 mg usually gets rid of it for a few days.
