Anyone try theses?  I just saw them advertised.  I could probably only eat a 1/4 of one right now but I thought for further out post op would be good.  Since it's low carb high protein.  Let me know if you tried them.  How are they?

Would also like to know people's thoughts...I thought the carbs looked too high if you are trying to stay under 30 grams of carbs a day?

The recommended amount is to stay under 40.  This I've seen over and over on OH and my doctor says it too.  My NUT disagrees and says don't worry about carbs cause the body needs them.   What I'm doing is trying to stay under 40 on weekday and on weekends under 60.  I read somewhere to be careful not to go too low carb on a long term basis because if you do that too long ultimately it can cause cancer.  The body actually needs carbs.  That is good carbs like veggies and fruit.  But lower carb is better for weight loss so I'm trying to be balanced about it.    The thing is if you only have one a day for diner or lunch you will not go over your carbs.  I think they are pretty low carb I understand.

It actually helps to vary your calorie and carb count so that your body doesn't get stuck in a rut.  Does that make sense?

I'd worry more about the sodium. Honestly it's easier to cook something homemade and section it off for the week. At least you know what's in it.

I saw them advertised also, but I got the idea that they were available through some program and not a grocery store.  I could be wrong.  It is frustrating trying to find low carb frozen dinners when I am too lazy to cook for myself.

I heard Super Wal-mart sells them.   And soon they will be in all grocery stores.

I looked them up and saw that only walmart carries them.  I don't live near one.  I will just wait to try them when they are in my local grocery.

Thanks

If you didn't see it.  Candy posted a website below for another bariatric frozen foods line.  They look good.  But these do have to be order by mail.  www.barigoodfoods.com
