So... I'm Canadian... From Ontario. We've got a streamlined system and the clinics are suppose to be "doing the same thing" but there is some variance. For where I went through it is suppose to be 2-3 days of clear fluids. 2 weeks of full fluids. 1 week pureed. 1 week minced. Then on to soft foods.

I'm allergic to all things corn so 23 1/2 hrs after my surgery start time they had me on a full fluids diet as they realized handing me a decaf tea as it was all they could accommodate from clear fluids would frustrate me... so... I am on pureed early. *grin* That said please follow your OWN guidelines not MY timelines...

2 weeks and 1 day post surgery for my bran spankin new baby vsg that tolerates nearly anything...

B: 1/4 cup oatmeal made with 1/2 cup water. Topped with 1/2 cup of skim milk and topped with beneprotein. Dash of salt when cooking it... Total: Calories: 123, Fat: 1.1g, Carbs: 15.7g, Sugar: 6.2g, Protein: 12.5g

S: 1/2 cup Oikos 0% with 1/8 cup blueberries... Total: Calories: 78, Fat: 0.1g, Carbs: 8.7g, Sugar: 4.5g, Protein: 11.1g

L: 3 1/2 melba rounds (can't seem to do the serving of 7 at this point and have no interest), 2 oz white albacore tuna, 1/2 tablespoon of Hellmans olive oil mayo,
Total: Calories: 135, Fat: 4.5g, Carbs: 9.3g, Sugar: 0.5g, Protein: 15g

S: 1/4 cup 1% cottage cheese
Total: Calories: 41, Fat: 0.6g, Carbs: 1.5g, Sugar: 1.5g, Protein: 7g

D: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of skim milk, 1 teaspoon of becel... I am having "fluffy eggs" a.k.a. "custard eggs" because I want breakfast for dinner. You heat the milk, and becel, add the eggs and whisk constantly. I figure if eggs will work for me this will be how it will work. I'm also a bit odd... I am a Salsa with my eggs girl so Great Value's Mild is the one of choice as it has good numbers (1 table spoon is Calories: 13, Fat: 0g, Carbs: 3g, Sugar: 1g, Protein: 0.5g)...
Total: Calories: 230, Fat: 12.1g, Carbs: 9.1g, Sugar: 7.2g, Protein: 16.6g

S: ? Suppose to have one but not really sure here as it depends if I am hungry.

*** I use real Hellman's. Please use the light Mayo if it is what you need. My allergy precludes me and it is just something I work around using less, etc. & real eggs instead of things like egg beaters. Maltodextrin is from corn...

Daily Total As It Stands: Calories: 619, Fat: 18.6g, Carbs: 46.6g, Sugar: 20g, Protein: 63.2g
