There is an end in sight....

It has been just over 3 weeks on TPN and NPO.  The leak is still there, very small, but still there.  Will check again in a week. Sounds like it could take a few more weeks.

I have not had anything to eat or drink for over 3 weeks, this is getting very old!  To think that this will go on a few more weeks is a huge bummer.

The good new is that the leak is healing, and at this point I won't have to have another surgery to repair it.  There is an end in sight so I am trying to stay upbeat and remind myself that this to will pass.....

Wow - sorry you have had such a tough ride!  Prayers going up that the leak heals quickly for you now and you can start munching soon!

You've had a very tough start so I'm glad to hear that you are trying to see it for what it is - just a tough start.  This will be over so. And before you know it you will be looking at it in the rear view mirror, living your new and much improved life.  Hugs
