It's POPEYES ... I mean it's Tuesday!!!  So I'm doing well with my committments to myself.  I did my Couch to 5K repeat of W1D2 last night and I again ran the last 1/4 of a mile =).  Last night when I got home I did 110 crunches and only a couple squats as my knee was upset, but this morning I woke up and did 120 crunches and 55 squats (it's a daily challenge I participate in).  

On Sunday the lady's blog I follow had a "Maximize your metabolism" and her stats about the sugar intack intrigued me.
Chew on this:  4g of carbs (for ANY source) = 1 tsp of sugar...in 1840 the average US person consumed 2 tsp of sugar per day...in 1950 the average was 8 tsp...in 2009 the average was 63 tsp.  So when I currently eat 60 g of carbs I'm ingesting 15 tsp.  She also talked about why some people get "brain fog" when they go low carb (correlate low carb with low fat)...the brain's make majority is made up of protein and fat.  Found it interesting and have been researching.

It's cold, wet and gross here in Austin today. Kid puking 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave for school. Been a GREAT day.

B - Cottage Cheese
L - Chili, that was the last of the leftover chili :(

S - Turkey, jerky, brussel sprouts maybe if I'm still hungry

Water & vitamins - on it
Exercise - not

Just for you and your pound kicking abilities, I have a new weapon.  I will post it today, Alan is typing it out as we speak.  This chicken slaw kicks those pounds A$$.  It is my new bazooka/secret weapon.  Watch out fat, here I come.  :)

OK, it's on my profile now.  It tastes great and is a perfect, guilt free snack or meal.
