My post-op from my dietician/surgeon!!

Snack- ½ cup low-fat yogurt, ½ cup fruit, 1 cup water...shake

Lunch- ¼ cup tuna with 1 carrot grated & a little light mayo on 3 to 6 soda crackers

Snack- 1 cup skim milk, 1 cup water

Dinner- 2 -3 oz lean chicken, fish or meat

1 cup cooked vegetables with ½ tsp margarine

Snack- "Smoothie" (1 cup skim milk, 1 small banana or 1 cup whole berries &

½ scoop protein powder)

  1. Must drink 8 cups (64 oz.) fluid every day
  2. Must do 30 to 60 minutes exercise every day
  3. Must keep daily food, fluid & activity log

Your diet will vary as you go along. I am almost 2 years out. Hope you aren't stressing over this. It really isn't hard to stick to plan. I find if I stay away from sugary or diet drinks, I am fine and stick to plan. I did not gain any weight over the holidays, life is good!

You guys are doing wonderfully!! Welcome to the rest of your life. When there is yummy food around, say around Christmas, I might think for may a half a second, "hmmm, wish I could eat more of that." But then my"angel sleeve" says, "uh uh, you don't want to go back there!"

Very happy sleever!!
