what to get
You might go to the search feature up top and type in something like "post-op list or post op list for home" and you'll get a bunch of ideas there. I use my Magic Bullet everyday, smaller plates, bowls and containers. Good drinking bottle/container. I use straws everyday and it has never bothered me but check with your post-op instructions as some recommend you don't use them because of the intake of air.
I also used the plastic medicine cups...I had a sleeve of them and filled 8 of them up and drank two each 15 mins for the day until I got my fluids in...found that much easier.
Good luck!
I'm doing the purée stage right now & I have small plastic bowls to freeze my foods & also made chili then puréed it & froze it in 1/4 cup portions in muffin pans then pop them out when frozen & freeze them in individual bags!
Don't forget measuring cups.
I've been eating with little baby spoons.
I bought SF jam to add to my plain Greek yogurt.
Don't forget lip balm for hospital, mouth wash & hand cream!
good luck!

My fave -- Camelbak Water Bottle -- model= Eddy. It has a bite valve, so you can use the straw without sucking up water. Used it from the very first day home, and it made getting liquids in a lot easier. When I first got home, I'd just lay in the recliner with it on my chest, and suck down a glug as often as I could. I was lucky, though -- I didn't have any pain drinking.
