L: Fajita Soup

D: unsure, chicken and something

S: Tomato Basil Stick, more coffee, I am not planned well

Exercise: Killing myself with the Ab/Squat challenge that you got me hooked on.  I suck at this, and my body is hating me a lot (a lot a lot a lot), but I am pushing thru the damned pain.  I am so weak in my muscles, that I know that the pain has held me back.  I guess that's why they make pain killers.

Water: I will get there.  Gonna go and get more bottled waters.

Ms. Shell, anything I have learned, I have learned from you and ThinLizzy.  I am standing on the shoulders of giants.  You two are my real VSG Queens.

First, the good news.  I woke up and the scale read 106.2 lbs.  That is a two pound weight loss for me since yesterday.  I have to admit that yesterday was especially hard.  I was really tempted to go off program for the second half of the day.  I know from experience that staying the course has great rewards and so I continued to keep myself motivated and put a cork in the gremlin on my shoulder.  I have another 1.2 pounds to go until I am happy, but in truth, I wouldn't mind going a few pounds lower, maybe to 103 lbs. for a little breathing room.  Yesterday, my dear husband cooked up a storm of diet friendly food for me.  I now have many great choices in the refrigerator, but I don't seem to be hungry at all this morning.  I attribute this to the fact that yesterday I put myself back into ketosis.  Basically, every time I take my carbs down to under 20, my hunger goes away in a day or two.

B: slept right through it.  Today is still my vacation time.

S:  four egg bites made by Alan. Eggs, egg whites, bell peppers, onions, garlic, turkey breast, feta cheese, salt pepper. They are about 20 calories each and are delicious.

L: Alan's homemade chili, about 160 calories per cup.  I usually eat about 1.5 cups at this stage.

S: Alan's beet salad, beets, some lite blue cheese dressing, garlic, roasted walnuts 1/2 cup about 50 calories

D: Alan's soup with chicken breast and wild mushrooms, probably 2 cups.  about 120 calories.

That means I will eat under 600 calories today and that includes a little lite soy milk for my chai that I have not included.  If I get hungry, I will add in more veggies and/or more soup.

Even so, I wouldn't be surprised to see the scale rebound a tiny bit tomorrow.  I would understand it,since it happens often after a two pound loss the day before.  I am just focused on my behavior, the scale will take care of itself.

I'm going to freeze to #$@#$%$# death here in #$@#$@ Austin, Texas.

B - cottage cheese
L - Chili
D - Hubby is making pizza, so probably toppings on chicken or something
S - jerky/cheese/yadda yadda

Vitamins and water - on track

Exercise - the big pink elephant for me for the past several months... I actually talked about it in therapy today and so we decided that instead of arguing with myself about it that I'm going to take the next two months off. After I get back from my 20th anniversary mini-vacation with my husband, then I'm going to go back twice per week. So, my exercise this week is to stop beating myself up over it.

Scale started moving again. Stair-stepping down... just 4.5 pounds until my next mini-goal of losing 2 Elinas! :) I will probably stall again before hitting it though... we'll see! Honestly, I never thought I'd see 175 pounds, so all of this is just icing on my cake.

For breakfast I made a scrambled egg in a mug with one wedge of Laughing Cow lite Swiss cheese.  HOLY SMOKES did that hurt and I really don't understand WHY.

For lunch I had about two spoonfuls of cottage cheese plus one small baked in panco breaded tilapia filet  and HOLY SMOKES did THAT hurt!

Today was the first day for either of those items and the first time I've HURT like that.

You ate too much is my guess.  I know it's a mind game looking at that little bitty teeny weeny spoonful of food and thinking that it's too much, but it is!

Eggs are REALLY hard for some people. and yes maybe to much.  Try 1 ounce of food at a time and see...
