Anybody use Unjury Cheese Powder?

I made some broccoli soup the other day, and wanted to make broccoli cheese soup, and thought the Unjury Cheese would be a good addition.  So I ordered some.

What in the world am I going to do with it? Has anyone used it in things like chicken enchiladas or other meaty things?

Of course, all the photos on the Unjury site show mac and cheese!  Really?

Since I have a bag of it coming in the mail, I'm open to suggestions!  I'll be glad to try any reasonable ones and report back!

Hmm...I would think you could put it with almost anything that you would use with cheese. I love cheese, broccoli, and cauliflower casserole. Um...eggs for an omelet or something like that? I'm interested in seeing the replies.

I have some. It taste like cheesy protein. What else could you expect really? I would add it in soup. I was wondering what some unjury cheesy chicken soup would taste like. You could really use it on anything I guess. You can make it thick like a dip/spread or thin for a soup.

Mine is on the way as well. I was planning to try it on veggies or in soup as a variety to the protein shakes. I make a lot of homemade stocks and marrow broth from bones, and while it seems odd to add something processed to that, I may give it a whirl.

I will not be making protein mac n' cheese even with reduced carb atkins approved pasta.

You'll have to tell me how you decide to use it.

Do you have to be careful with temperature when you use it like other proteins?  (I'm guessing it is a protein product of some sort?)?

I've seen someone mention using it during soft foods stage by mixing it with potatoes and putting on top of ground beef for a shepherds pie and they really liked it.

I found its best uses are as a door stop or even a paper weight.    But that's just me.

Great!  That's my big fear!  I expect it will be OK in the broccoli soup, or added to the progresso cheesy chicken enchilada soup.

I haven't used any unjury products -- so it looks like I'm in for a real "treat".

PS-- for the paperweight, did you just plunk the bag in front of the door, or did you make the cheese goup, pour into a loaf pan, let it harden, then shellac it?  I'm thinking I could go all Martha Stewart on it if I can't eat it!
