Whatcha eating today VSGers...Tuesday!!!
Exercise is kind of meh until after the holidays. Running around like crazy doesn't officially count as exercise but it's all I have time for this week. Doing great on water and vitamins as always, keeping my calories right in my maintenance range.
Gave in and had 2 Belgian cookies from the treats at work today (85 calories) so no peanut butter for me tonight. But that's OK, it was a good trade off.
Still trying to get back over 140 lbs.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Why not bump up your calories if you are trying to gain weight? Eat the PB!

I hesitate even answering this because I know someone who's struggling to lose is going to read my answer and get really upset. So if that's you, fellow VSGer, please stop reading now...OK...
I am bumping the calories. Every time I bump them my metabolism adjusts. I've been playing that game for months: raise calories (at first 100 at a time, then 150 at a time). Weight stabilizes for a few weeks, maybe even goes up a hair. Woohoo, I think, I've got it now...then pow! A 2-4 lb loss in a week or so. So up they go again, lather, rinse repeat.
I had myself back up to 138.6, then I got a stomach bug and lost down to 132.8 in 3 days. No problem, I thought - you can't really lose that much in 3 days at your weight. It's fluid and intestine contents so when you're eating and drinking normally it'll come back. Nope. Stabilized again at 135, a new low.
I'm eating 1800+ calories a day. I have a 2 oz stomach for solids, maybe 3 oz for very soft foods: 1800-2000 calories is HARD at that size. I eat peanut butter most days. I drink shakes. A Clif bar here, some trail mix there. I try to control the real junk (cookies, crackers, etc) but I don't even bother with veggies because they don't have enough calories for the amount they fill me up - how horrible is that? I recommend unsweetened almond milk when I post here, but that's not what I actually use any more, I just don't want to lead folks astray.
Like I said, lots of folks here probably think this is a problem they'd like to have, but it's a battle. There is such a thing as too small a stomach for an active person, and my 40f bougie notwithstanding, I think I have one.

Yesss I do wish I had this problem, but still a struggle nonetheless. Im sure you will get there! I'd donate a few lbs if I could :)

I'm having that kind of week too! I was going to go to the gym tonight but I'm so busy this week that I need a night off from EVERYTHING.
B: South Beach creamy peanut butter snack bar
L: bacon and egg salad (from eggface) on 5 melba rounds (found the lowest carb ones I could)
S: BH low sodium ham and one slice sargento ultra thin provolone, also probably a kraft twist cheese stick
D: not sure yet but might make a greek stuffed chicken breast.
S: SF popsicles

I'm so there!! I think a small planned indulgence is better than the stress and anxiety of complete resistance. So don't **** it Shell plan it and its OK. Stuffed mini peppers??Yuuuum.
I too have my routines thrown off this week, house guests, shopping, meetings, crap, crap, and more crap. Still feeling good though.

All hell is breaking loose today at my home/office. Internet is REALLY slow and no one can get on the server and the world just sucks donkey butt. So, I dunno what I'm eating. I had greek yogurt while sitting in front of the server calling it bad names this morning.
Lunch is... I have no freaking idea. Dinner is whatever hubby cooks.
I'm just trying to get my water in. Vitamins are fine. Exercise is running from the router to each computer and a lot of cursing.
