Ahh Ruggie. Probably my favorite poster of all time. Let me just say you look totally hawt. And if you don't mind me complimenting your chubber pics--you were very handsome as a big guy too!! You are a success through and through and they broke the mold when they made you. Yeah I know--you probably think I'm overdoing it with the praise. Maybe I am. Some of your threads I bookmarked got me through to goal. That's right--I did it. I'm at a 21 freaking BMI. Never thought I'd see the damn day. Thanks to you and Elina and Frisco and Marie M I've pulled it the f*ck off. I have had to be vigilant on my own behalf. I had a surgeon in Mexico with very little after care. I used the keys to success learned on THIS FORUM from the very best of the best. I used the 600-800 diet and high protein all the way through . I have changed my lifestyle for the better. Diabetes? Gone! I will be a vigilant low-carber for the rest of my life because I--no, not I--will not die in my early 50's of diabetes related complications like my mother did. Nope, nope, nope. That will put the fear in anyone lemme tell ya.

Thank you for your posts. Live, love, laugh and be healthy! I wish you the very best in the future and yes--please come back now and again.

Well let me just say, I've missed you man. I know that you are at a place where you have taken charge of your new life, but please stop in to say hello every now and then. You have become one of the success stories that the rest of us need to see. Even those of us who are either doing well in the loosing phase, or those who have made it to goal need to see those who are further out leading a better life as a reminder sometimes. I also want to take this moment to thank you for being an inspiration to me when I was still waiting for my date. You are also one of the inspirations that prompted me to start my plastics fund. Take care and enjoy your new life and body, you deserve it.

Hey Ruggie,
It's great to see you on here. It sounds like life is going great for you, glad to hear that As far as the sarcastic and science nerd comment, I have missed the sarcasm the most. However, I think my wife has missed your T-shirt posts. Hope to see your sarcasm make a come back soon, because we need that on OH from time to time.
