I have had a fitbit for 3 days now and it is a very cool little gadget. It has certainly motivated to walk a little extra (to hit those 10,000 steps a day) and to take the stairs at work. Which was a bit of a discovery. I can spend 60 minuts on a treadmill at an incline and a pretty good pace but 2 flights of stairs kicks my ass. But I did take the stairs today instead of the elevator. It also tracks your calories burned and your sleep. You just wear it on your pants during the day and a wrist strap at night.
I have a fitbit and really like it. It sync's with the computer just by being near the computer. You can wear it at night and tracks your sleeping habits. I take if off in my sleep though :).
It does count steps when you're driving though. It's interesting how many steps I take while driving to work - LOL.
I will not be sleeved until the 19th but I have put a Fitbit One on my list for Santa. I have a lady at work who is not having wls surgery and she raves about hers all the time. It is just a great motivator. She hooks hers to her bra and you can't even tell she is wearing it.
Santa has said I was a good girl so I will probably get one!
