Does anyone use these? What do you like? Not like? Are they helpful or just another tech toy?

I have had a fitbit for 3 days now and it is a very cool little gadget. It has certainly motivated to walk a little extra (to hit those 10,000 steps a day) and to take the stairs at work. Which was a bit of a discovery. I can spend 60 minuts on a treadmill at an incline and a pretty good pace but 2 flights of stairs kicks my ass. But I did take the stairs today instead of the elevator. It also tracks your calories burned and your sleep. You just wear it on your pants during the day and a wrist strap at night.

I want to know this, too.   I bought Fitbit, but really don't know what to do with it, or how to sync it with My Fitness Pal.

I have a fitbit and really like it.  It sync's with the computer just by being near the computer. You can wear it at night and tracks your sleeping habits.  I take if off in my sleep though :).

It does count steps when you're driving though. It's interesting how many steps I take while driving to work - LOL.

Thanks, Diana

I have the FitBit One, I love it! However this particular model is suppose to sync with android and iOS, How do i sync it and get my steps updated. I've downloaded it on both devices. Til now i can only get it to sync properly with my laptop

I have a Fitbit and like it a lot. It keeps me on track to exercise, and I also use Fitbit.com to track my food and weight. For me, it's a great tool to keep me motivated about exercise.

I love my Fitbit. I wear it daily. I like that it syncs with MFP, I get an email with all my weekly accomplishments and that is motivating, with badges for steps and stairs climbed. I was using Endomondo to track exercise but Fitbit is a lot easier.

I will not be sleeved until the 19th but I have put a Fitbit One on my list for Santa.  I have a lady at work who is not having wls surgery and she raves about hers all the time.  It is just a great motivator.  She hooks hers to her bra and you can't even tell she is wearing it.

Santa has said I was a good girl so I will probably get one!

It sounds intriguing. I have to say that I really like the idea of being able to clip it to my bra instead of my pants.

I use Fitbit, love it, it really helps keep my eye on my goals. I wear it 24/7.
