I have one and wear it everyday.  The doctor highly suggested getting one.

I had when I had my LapBand.  It included the size of my Band and that I have Malignant Hyperthermia and am an Organ Donor.

I just got one from American Medical.  It needs to really look like a Medic Alert Band or they won't even notice it.  Many are like jewerly and my friend who is an EMT says he and others ignore anything jewerly.  Mine looks like a medic alert necklace.

Mine says my name, and the date I was sleeved.  I think it's good information.

Knowledge is power.  I know others think they are worthless and really not important.  I've been an RN for 26 years and believe me, the more the hospital and doctors know about the patient, the better.

Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months!  My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12!  I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve!  Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!
