No point in being concerned about it....its done.  If it was that big a deal to you should have brought it up way before.  The only thing you can do now is work what you have to the best of your ability.

I have a 36 as well....am 11 months out and still can barely get in 2oz of dense protein.  The sleeve is what you make of it.  Get your head right and it doesn't matter the size.

I did actually bring it up at my surgeon consult ... unfortunately the surgeon consult doesn't necessarily mean that I will get that surgeon ... and in my case I didn't get the same surgeon .... When I was rolled into the operating room, this being the first chance I had at meeting my surgeon he proceeded to try and talk me out of the VSG and into the RN&Y ... I was scared, confused as to why he was kinda being a little rude about my VSG decision and before I knew it I was out ... unfortunately I couldn't get the whole bougie talk out in time. Everything happened so quick and I found myself fighting for the VSG just minutes before surgery ....  I'll work at getting my head right ?? It was just a question dude from a newly sleeved girl who had a little anxiety for a day ... I'm sure you were in my spot at one point or another! Maybe not over bougie size but I am sure you were not immune to having moments of doubt or concern. Thanks anyways!

You're welcome.  Yeah sorry I guess I don't understand.  I chose my surgeon and knew exactly who was going to be cutting into me.

What type of screwed up system is that where you barely get a consult and then on the day of surgery its "pick your random surgeon" time?  I would have run....not walked out of there.

But like I said....36 is more than adequate and if its not....can't go back now.  You will be fine.
