Has anyone out here used any of the products from this company? If so what do you think & what do you use? I emailed my NUT about the "greens" her reply was that it's like any other product they try to sell you magic & the only way to get your veggies & fruits anti- oxidants is to eat them, so it's not worth the money.

Okay, well why do vitamin, mineral, calcium, & protein supplements work then? no reply of course......

please help, with your experience & knowledge!!!

I googled "ItWorks Weight Loss" to look at the products since you didn't include a link.  This is the site I looked at:

http://www.myitworks.com/shop/category/13/

I gotta agree with your Nut - Sounds like Bull****  First off, Vitamin & Mineral supplements work because the provide DIRECTLY what your body needs.  They don't promise to "Magically" Melt away pounds.  They provide nutrients that you aren't getting through diet.  Thats all.  You still have to manage your weight.  They are regulated by the FDA and publish, in detailed labels what they provide.

Lets take a look now at these products -

The first thing I see is this disclaimer on every page:

"These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to treat, diagnose, cure, or prevent any disease."

Roughly translated:

"We're afraid you are going to sue us if you buy our crap and get sick or don't get better.  We have no real scientific data published in legitimate peer reviewed journals to back up our claims".

Apply the simple test:  Does it sound too good to be true?

Other red flags on their site:

1.  Early termination of contract fees if you are not satisified

2.  "Network Marketing"  - Meaning they are making money off of people selling their products and not just on the products themselves.  Why are they not selling directly through retailers like Vitamin Shoppe or GNC?

3.  No medical or scientific credentials for their "product formulator" and their"medical consultant" has his own website selling his own line of products.  Shady.  Why not use an independent lab and present real data?

Go with proven products with proven results and actual documentation.  Magic Pills and Solutions are only designed to quickly separate a fool from their money.

why don't you just eat your greens?

i do eat my veggies. but my day consists of 2 protein shakes for breakfast to get 60g of protein in to start as i am to get a minimum of 80 per day then lunch is just veggies nothing else so i can get most of what i need in. then dinner is getting rest of protein in & whatever else might fit.

so i just thought if i could use a supplement for some of my veggies then it would be nice a couple times a week to not be so routined. I wasn't looking at this for fat loss by the way to the previous post in reference to that.

i looked at it the same way i look at my protein & vitamin supplements. in all reality i can't eat enough to get everything my body needs so i use supplements. thought of this as a possible supplement to my veggies

apparently no one out here has actually used this, so no experience from use to share.  thanks for the opinions though
