The blessings you don't want :)

I guess I was lucky - all of my stitches were the dissolving kind.  I had some that started sticking out that I trimmed just so I wouldn't look like I was growing fishing line.

It'll be naught but a memory before you know it!

I officially bow to the ultimate coffee snob (this is a good term in CA)  I thought I was bad by having a machine that freshly grinds whole beans and brews so it is ready when I get up for work. I meet friends at SB's several nights a week, but man, you make me look like an amateur.  I do regular in the morning (5 am does not happen without a little help) mixed with protein shake, then I switch to decaf for the rest of the day.

With all of that SB spending, please tell me you have a registered gift card that you re-load? If you buy your drinks with the card, you earn free ones. But I expect you already know that.

I do and I use it with passbook on an iPhone.  You know Starbucks - it always looks like an Apple Users Group is meeting in there!

I'll be an official SB Snob if I ever get one of those Verismo machines - but I like grinding my own too!

That is too funny. I have a friend who is considering that machine. For me, that would just be to dangerous.

Decaf Chai Tea is good with sugar free creamer or some milk. However, most coffee places do not have decaf Chai.  Makes me sad too.

I try a decaf every couple of weeks, but get a tummy ache afterwards, learning to not crave it as much anymore.  It is a blessing and a curse.

“Not many of us are living at our best.  We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains.  The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills.  We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence.  What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb.  What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.?  JRM

Well if it makes you feel any better Tea is the "new" coffee. SBUX just acquired Teavanna and I can see a new trend emerging. Be a trend setter and try tea instead.  :)

I too have a serious coffee habit, Hell I live in the home of SBUX. But I think I am equally addicted to tea. I love hot drinks period.

We are told no coffee EVER!  I went without the first year after banding, than started drinking decaf and by year two was back on it.  The nut keeps yelling at me no coffee EVER!  I wish this would happen to me.devil

Tea has even more caffeine, wish I could hate that too, I love it more than coffee

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
