Tomorrow will be my last day to eat.
My liquid diet is only 10 days. But I've decided to do it 15 days and start Saturday. 1 reason is I'd like surgery to be safe since I have a high BMI. I figure that if I start over the weekend (since the first 2 days are the hardest) I will not be a crabby once I go back to work. Which is why I'm not starting it in the middle of the work week. So tomorrow is the last day I can eat. I'm debating if I'll have another food funeral or just eating well balanced to make the liquid diet easier. I'm afraid if I eat too bad my blood sugar will be so off that it will make the liquid diet harder afterwards. (not diabetic but hypoglycemic)
The one thing I'm gonna miss in this journey is coffee ice cream and also dove chocolate candies with the penut butter inside. The other thing is Mexican food. I don't think I'll be able to have much of any of that post op. Please give me some encouragement as this food break up thing is very hard for me emotionally.

Don't make this so hard on yourself. Ease into the liquid diet! Do a low carb diet for a few days and detox from the carbs. Then do a combo few days - a couple of shakes and one lean meat and veggie meal a day. Then start your 10 day liquid diet when you're suppose to. I think it's better to do the all liquid at work because you're mostly distracted. Home is more dangerous for the food demons to pop out. Whatever you do, best of luck!
That's what I'm doing now. But i keep cheating at night. During the day I'm fine. I've been journeling my food trying to eat higher protein low carb.

I've already had my share of funerals anyway. lol Bonefish grill, PF Changs, and Mexican. Enough is enough no need to have another tomorrow.
