LIQUID VITMAINS OR CHEWABLE.

I had a rash that the doc thought might be from vitamins -- so I've been using EcoDrink -- powdered vitamins that you mix with water -- From Sam's.

I think the dilution they recommend was too strong, so I diluted it more -- plus, I toss it into my tea or whatever I'm drinking.  There are two flavors in the box -- berry and orange.  Both taste fine with Lipton diet Citrus green tea!  LOL!

I expect I'll be back to my Trader Joe's chewables (which aren't bad!) when I run out of the powdered stuff.  I had a sample of the bariatric advantage orange chewables that I tried today -- Blechhh!  I can see why some of these chewable vitamins make people gag -- I'm 13 days out, and I haven't been having trouble with vitamins, pills, etc. -- but man, that Bariatric Advantage thing was the first thing I've wanted to just spit out, and my stomach is rolling around now!

Yeah if I get nauseated preop I can only imagine how post op would be.    I imagine the Trader Joes are all natural and might taste better might give those a try.

I have been using CVS liquid vites since surgery. Tastes great and goes down nicely. Am on my last bottle and will be moving on to chewables next. Or powder. Hate swallowing pills....

Yeah i don't like swallowing them either and I'm preop.  I gag if they are too big.  So I'll probably do liquid vitamins for the rest of my life post op.

Liquid are considerably more expensive...harder to travel with. I took a normal multi tonight...horse pill size. Almost hurled it but in the end I talked it into staying down. Trouble is all the good vites like the multi, the B complex and the hair, skin and nails not to mention the omegas, are all horse pill size. For us who have an overdeveloped gag reflex its pretty hard. But I decided I am going to train myself.

I don't like taking pills. I cant seem to swallow them. And truthful I always gag at the smell of vitamins. So, thanks for the tips on liquid vitamins. My hubby picked up gummy vitamin for me last week. They taste great, but I'm pretty sure I will not be able to continue taking them after surgery.

Hi there.  When I went to my nutrition class yesterday she said absolutely no gummies.  She said they don't have enough of what you need in them and are missing key ingredients.  Talk to you nutritionist about vitimans first because their opinion may differ but she may be able to help you figure out what ingrediants to look for.  When did you say your surgery will be?
