LIQUID VITMAINS OR CHEWABLE.
What does everyone recommend. I sampled some chewable but they made me nauseated and I'm not even post op yet. :( Any liquid vitamins anyone recommends?

I went to straight tablets right after surgery. It was what my doctor recommended. Just spreading them out through out the day. I thought about buying the liquid or chewable ones, but I could not find a good tasting one that didn't have sugar or fake sugar in it. Plus have to stay away from wheat. So I opted to just buy good quality tablet (that dissolve quickly) ones and go slowly and let them dissolve as I drank my liquids. I tested all my vitamins in water and most of them dissolved within 5 minutes in warm water, then if I shook them up a bit, they completely dissolved. Buying a good quality, without filters makes a difference.
At first, I was only on a multi vitamin with iron and vitamin D, then after a bit they added in my calcium citrate and B-12, now I take those and also take biotin (another b-12), and a B-complex. The calcium citrate are like horse pills, but it does get way easier to get them down the farther out you get. I used to break them in half, but I take them whole now. They also dissolve quickly in liquid, so you could just drink them down too.
“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM
Ever since my surgery the chewables have made me dry heave and over all feel icky. I finally found a liquid multi vitamin that I can handle. Wellesse makes it. You can get it from DietDirect.com it seriously saved me. It is quite sour, but I love sour so that isn't an issue for me.

You sound like me! lol. I have a very quesy stomach to begin with. It didn't get any better after surgery unfortunately. So I have a hard time eating/drinking in the mornings and I get the dry heaves more often than others, it's just cause I'm a generally easily nauseated person. :P

You are still new. It might get better after time. But those chewable vitamins. I don't know, taste like chalk. Yuck. lol :-) Plus one has to take so many to get the right qualities. Who wants to fill there sleeve with vitamins there'd be no room for food. I think I'll definitely do the liquid vitamins.

What brands have you tried, just curious. I prefered the Celebrate vitamins, but you are right. It was 2 giant chewables to get my multi, plus 3 giant chewables to get my calcium. That alone would fill me. :P

That's the exact one that made me nauseated. I noticed theirs has a better vitamin coverage than some of the others. I did like the taste of the Carmel chews. I could pretend I'm eating candy. lol :-)
I'd tried bariatric support and opurity as well as bariatric choice. Didn't think those had enough coverage unless I want to take like 10 of them. lol
I found a liquid multi vitamin that has good coverage with strengths also has some greens n it.. Wouldn't need to take b-12 cause it has enough. Also all natural no sugar artificial subsitutes. It's Nature Source Gold (liquid). I haven't tried it though.
