Artic "ice cream" whole pint is 150 calories, 14 grams of protein.
I would strongly suggest forget anything that you shouldn't have and stick with what vets like Frisco, Rob, Elina and others with long term success do. Stick with only pure healthy foods. Believe me a pint of ice cream would indeed fit in a sleeve because it goes straight thru. I'm still banded but I know how easy it is to get off track and I swear if I can get my revision to a sleeve the only thing going past these lips is protein and veggies period. That's basically what I ate with the band however any fill caused so much GERD that the band was basically useless. It is easy to go from one occasional treat to an everyday treat without even thinking about it. "Maybe" once you reach maintenance but even then it is as Don said a slippery slope. So set yourself up for success not for treats or even once in awhile "cheat" days. It is totally counter productive.
I hope you can get your revision soon!

I make SF chocolate pudding with skim milk adding two scoops plain protein powder and then put into popsicle forms and freeze. Very creamy and good. I don't know whether almond milk would thicken the pudding enough.
I don't do this often as I am an ice creamaholic and this could lead to a binge for me.
Yes, I'm an ice creamaholic too. I've been guilty of eating 2 pints of ice cream before at one sitting. (full fat)
I have heard you can use almond milk for the fudgsicle recipe. One of the sleevers that had my same doc told me about it. She makes them a lot.
I'm also a chocoholic, and a waterachololic. (I drink like 2 gallons a day I know the sleeve will not let me do that I'm concerned cause I'm always thirsty.
It's all gonna change.

R U a diabetic or been tested lately? Excess thirst is a sign of diabetes. VSG will allow you to drink quite a bit but anything carby goes does very easily so no to the ice cream. If I want a treat I go to Dairy Queen and purchase a fudge or orange bar. One only not the box as I can't have them in my home.
Nope not diabetic. I've been testing recently. Just thirsty. I've been thirsty for like 10 years at least. Someone said it could be in my head. Like some kind of hydro mental illness. Or I just love water almost as much as ice cream. I don't drink anything else. So I'll have no problem not drinking calories. I will be one VSGer that will not get dehydrated. I'll sip sip sip!! lol But I will miss gulping my water down.
Yeap I can't have any sweets in my home either. Or they don't stay. So I don't bring them home.

I saw something on one of the morning shows awhile back where they tested Ice Cream to see if the calorie counts were accurate and this came back as one of the worst offenders of incorrect information on the label. Here is the story:
