Next week I'll be started the preop liquid diet.   1 serving of vegatable soup or V8 low fat is allowed per day.  I saw some pumpkin soup at Trader Joe's and noticed it was low fat.  I thought 4 oz of it mixed with protein powder would be okay.   Only thing is when I experimented I mixed the unflavored protein powder thickened it. like baby food consistency.  Although it tasted much better.

So all you got to do is mix 1 cup Trader joe's pumpkins soup (Heat it first)  Than stir in 1 scoop unflavored protein powder any kind over 20 grams protein.   1 cup has 16 carbs but being post op you will probably only eat 1/3 cup at a time.   Meaning it would be 5.5 carbs and 6.5 protein.  Calories around 70

108.2 lbs lost from highest weight!

 (86.2 lbs of that was lost since surgery date)
