Still around - checking in
Im still alive. Im not a skinny ***** anymore though - just a bloated swollen blimp at the moment. Someone could stick a pin in me and just pop me at any time now :)
It's been a week since my arm lift, breast lift/implants, lowerbody lift and thigh lift. I'm mobile, not in too much horrible pain, mostly uncomfortable. No complications really at this point which is good. Love the newbie restriction :) Ive been eating very very well. I never would have imagined that recovering from surgery like this woud be relaxing, but I could get used to being hidden away far far from home (except I miss my friends too much). No stress and voila, no acid problems, no hunger. I definitely love this. I have some realy cool surgery buddies who have had WLS as well so we are going through this together - keeps me laughing and keeps me from getting the post-op blues.
I really just need to jump off this damn obsesion with the scale - all i think when im trying to rest is wondeiring how much I weigh...I mean, i havent been on the scale in a whole week. I never thought Id manage that. there is a scale in the hotel gym...but im pretty sure with all my swelling that im well over 200 lbs and I;m not willing to see that on the scale, so thats the only thing that is keeping me off!
Ill pop in once in a while - im trying to rest as much as possible :)

Step away from the scale. Keep off the scale.
You must be nuts, you know what your body is doing with fluids right now? At 3 weeks you're allowed, only because by then it won't send you into a screaming, crying frenzy that's gonna scare non English speaking hotel staff to death.
I know you want to see how much was cut off weight wise but take it from one who has been there, this is not what you will see guaranteed. Stay away from the scale, unless you're looking to incite hysteria.
i asked him - he cut off 8lbs - a good portion of that will be fluids that will be replenished sooo...im still pretty far in the overweight category for my liking. Its okay though...i'll get through this.

With newbie like restriction, you shouldn't worry about gaining any real weight lol. Just that darn fluid retention. If I were you i would NOT get on a scale for 6 weeks, but that's just me. I have heard people gain weight after plastic surgery for about a month so if it's going to stress you out--don't do it! You want to relax and be as stress-free as possible :-). Just my thoughts on it.
I bet you are going to look HAWT in a couple of months once the swelling goes down
