Turkey, Green Bean Casserole and that's about it. I may have a single bite of pumpkin cheese cake that my daughter makes because it is sent from heaven and I would be very sad not to at least taste it.

Hi, Jen,

Just be careful - I'm not trying to be a downer here, but that's 6 new foods you're thinking of introducing in one day.  Your stomach might revolt!  I'm almost 5 months out and can't even imagine eating all that at once.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

I'm planning on turkey and a bite of this and a bite of that.  No dessert...I've had no sweets since my surgery and not breaking that until Christmas when I can have my Mom's Red Velvet Cake.  And, then again...I may not have any then.  I'm really trying to get to goal!!!  There will be other Thanksgivings!!

I was really thinking about modifying some recipes for me, but I decided I would just make the best choices I can. I'm doing turkey with a little gravy and some veggies. I'm not a huge sweets fan, in fact I already made and froze all the pies, my biggest challenge will be avoiding potatoes and too much wine! Good thing I'll be working it all off running around the stores on Black Friday! Boo-yeah!!!

Mainly turkey. Taking my food scale! And bites of everything else if it fits.

How about you?

I have a stuffing recipe with Melba toast and the cream of mushroom protein soup packet mix from health wise. But I'm not sure if I will make it or not.

I will be on my second day of my pre-op diet.  So I plan on having 3 ounces of Turkey and 2 cups of salad and 1 cup of green beans.
