Do you use any creamer, like almond milk or half-and-half?  Just curious - I can drink coffee without sweetness but not without cweaminess.

I went cold turkey one day and started drinking it black. It was a huge adjustment, but I decided that if I wanted coffee I had to suck it up and drink it black. I kinda like it now. I taste it more.

Hiii!

I just put a splash of skim milk in it to color it! I can't do creaminess!!

My sugar hasn't dropped today either. Not sure if that makes a difference with not drinking the artificial sugar...

Donna, I am going to give this a try.  I am really intrigued by your idea of obtaining from artificial sweeteners.  I don't know if I can pull it off, but I am really intrigued.

You know what they say....once you go black, you'll never go back...I've been drinking mine black for years. DH still doctors his and I took a taste of it a couple months ago (just to see if I would like it) and YUK!  I think it may be an acquired taste but it's much easier and no extra calories so I'm content...

I'm with Happy966. As long as there is at least 2 teaspoons of half and half in my coffee, I really don't need the sweetness.

I add chocolate protein powder to my coffee for a chocolate mocha. I get my coffee and protein at the same time. (I have to mix the protein with a little milk first to make sure the protein dissolves. If not, it comes out clumpy).

To most folk a coffee break's seen
As a chance to top up on caffeine,
And, while that is true,
You can pop to the loo,
And no one will know where you've been.

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!
