These are ideas of things you probably already do.

I prefer not to cook, so I do once a month cooking, I cook up chicken breast for stir fries, hamburger or turkey patties, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, chicken breast in pizza sauce, then I just add mozarella when I heat it up (makes me feel like I had a bit of pizza).  I put it all in zip lock snack baggies or small tiny containers to freeze.  I even buy shaved Boershead turkey and freeze it, it does okay.

Lettuce wraps, which I do the following with, which is super quick:

sliced turkey and hummus

tuna & light mayo & sweet or dill relish

Taco meat, cheese and salsa (do once a month cooking and cook and freeze up a pound or two of ground beef with taco seasoning)

scrambled eggs and cheese, this actually freezes okay too, just cannot add milk or water when you scamble them.

Greek Yogurt with nuts or granola

Cottage cheese and fruit

sugar snap peas and hummus

Maybe something I wrote is new to you or gave you an idea for something.  If not, sorry.

Change it up, it helps.

Have you scouted the world according to eggface? There are tons of cook books out there both bariatric and "normal". You can cook anything really, just eat the appropriate portions...

Also you can PM Frisco...I bet he has a nice catalogue!!!

Yes, I would recommend "worldaccordingtoeggface" as well. She has some awesome recipes.
Elina has some on her profile as well that get rave reviews.

Some of my fav things:

Parmesan crisps w/ chili and salsa ( makes a mini taco)

Taylor Farm Salads ( asian or southwest) from Sam's and then I add 3 oz of meat. Whatever I have on had ( chicken, turkey, chili, pork tenderloin, shrimp, salmon..etc>)

Zucchini shredded w/ feta cheese ( from Shelly's site)

Good luck finding some new "fav's"!

This one is so good and you can do it with chicken too http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/vsg/4570569/Tuna-Cauliflower-Casserole-recipe/  Also I actually find a lot of high protein meals on pintrest believe it or not.  http://peaceloveandlowcarb.blogspot.com/2012/02/buffalo-blue-chicken-meatballs.html  this one my whole family loved. This one I have not made yet and I'm not sure of the carb count yet on it, I was thinking of adding meat to it and tweaking it to make it more vsg friendly.  http://trickschefs.com/showthread.php?tid=1139  This one I used almond milk instead of evaporated and turkey burger and turkey bacon and no corn flake crumbs and it held together great. And then I don't know if you've ever done the cauliflower pizza http://www.recipegirl.com/2012/01/16/cauliflower-crust-hawaiian-pizza/

There are lots of great videos on YouTube for cooking for bariatric eating. I just go there and search low carb recipes or bariatric cooking, or any number of other phrases. I also search for dishes that I like in restaurants and then I try to figure out how to make them more bariatric friendly. Like I LOVE Thai food. Haven't figured out what to do about the coconut milk yet, but there are plenty of other recipes that I learned to cook on there. Check it out, its worth the time.

What is wrong with coconut milk? Calories? I am going out for thai this Friday. Can't wait. I thought of having the soup with lemon grass and shrimp. Or maybe an appropriate appetiser, steamed something...

Keith, you are a man by my own heart.  I LOVE Thai food as well.  If you find a good sub for coconut milk PLEASE let me know.  I miss my Tom Ka and Panang.

Honestly, I cook about the same things I always have - just eat A WHOLE LOT LESS of it.  Here is my menu for the week:

M: BBQ beef country ribs (been in the crock pot all day)

T: Lasagna

W: Tacos (will have a taco salad)

TH: Stacked enchiladas

F: Pork tenderloin

Make a list of all the foods you used to eat.  Find ways to lower the calories/carbs and cook it just like always before.  Portion out 2 oz or whatever your stomach can handle.  We still can eat real food - just less of it.
