Weekly Challenge - mid week check in
This week has been a total bust for me - ive been walking the fine line between being on track and being a hot mess. That's what happens when I start my week off wrong.
The good news is I'm still getting a lot of protein. A lot of fluids. And my coffee consumption has dramatically reduced. I still never got off my butt to exercise at all. But I'll just wait till Sunday to punish myself :)
I definitely think I need to spend some time reflecting and making a plan to deal with major life changes - I can deal with the day to day stuff, but faced with a life changing surgery...it has me way out of my comfort zone. So - that's my goal for the remainder of the week.
How are you doing with your weekly goals? What's working and what's not working so well? What will you do to finish the week off strong?

1 - I have done 11 out of the 15 miles I want to do, so I think I will actually get that one done.
2 - I have done well on my eating, I saw a crazy number on the scale a few days ago that made me kind of freak, but I have worked my way back up to a number I am comfortable with.
3 - Still having some major anxiety issues, but I have found a few things that are triggering me and I am working them out slowly.

I am working on keeping within my losing guidelines, and finally saw that scale move. I am also working on my internal head games to stop the self sabotaging. I am so freaking close to making those posts I want.
My goal for the rest of the week is to get off my ass and do something. Anything. My husband is dragging me up to a cabin in Big Bear so him and the kids can fish. Maybe I will drag them on a hike as well or something - that's not high impact, right? (Can you tell I never hiked?)

I love Big Bear and hiking is freeing! Don't get me wrong I love me some city life, downtown Seattle is one of my favorite places to be also. Being away from "it" all and hearing the forest, smelling the fresh air, and being right in nature is awsome! Especially when you can go back to the cabin, take a hot shower, drink some tea, and relax after.
Can you tell I need a getaway?
Couldn't resist commenting on things I love! Have fun, enjoy every minute.
BTW fishing is fun too, I've never caught anything but sitting in silence by the water waiting for the fish allows lots of time for reflection.
