Weekly Challenge - what's your goal?

 I dont know where the weekend went!!

Time to set some non-scale related goals and make a plan to accomplish them.

Last week, I managed to meet 2/3 goals, but totally got a 0% on my exercise goal. I have horrible fatigue that I just can't seem to shake even though Ive been sleeping 7-10 hours a day. 

So, for this weeks goals:

1. Not eating out - last week I ate out way too much, so this week, i have all my food prepared, and it's good, so I have no excuses. 

2. Start working on my to-do list to cut back on stress

3. Going back to attempting to cut back on coffee - I need to do this within the next month so I don't die after my surgery. Max 2 "cups" a day.

 1) (this is an odd one) REST!  I have a race on Sunday and need to NOT EXERCISE much this week.  Nothing over 3 miles for me and no spin.

2) Increase my water!  I've been really bad at this and since I do have the Army 10 miler on Sunday I need to ensure I'm very hydrated going in.

3) More complex carbs.  I've let too many simple carbs into my diet.  I need the carbs for exercise but I should be getting them from better sources!

Nothing like a sugar high before a run :)  Mix it with some caffeine and you can be the energizer bunny!

 The ATM doesn't allow gels or anything and I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do!  I'm so used to popping a gel at mile 8, those last 2 miles are going to kill me.

Can you carry your own water bottle/hydration pack?  Just get some good electrolyte replacement with some carbs in it.

Why no gels? Bc they dont want to clean them up or what?  Can you carry some gu chomps or something like that - you can just pop a couple every once in a while.

We can't carry hydration either.  Which I'm also worried about because I'm crap at drinking out of those cups.  You can tell I'm a newbie when I get to the hydration tables because I wear more of it than I drink!

My understanding is it is a security issue.  They are worried I'm going to blow something up with my liquids and gels. In their defense it's over 20k people at the Pentagon, it's gotta be hell to plan security.  But yeah I'm a little worried.  If I could figure out a way to put some chews in my bra so they wouldn't get all sweaty or cause me issues I would.

I doubt I will ever be able to run and drink...I usually gulp too much air and not enough water...if any. Id need a 20 oz glass to get a 2oz sip in haha.

Maybe next weeks goal in preparation for my 1/2 - learn to run and drink!

Hi there everyone!  My goals this week are to:

Register for the Dirty Girl 5K in March.

Complete week six of C25K.

Weight train at least three days.

Go on a date with my husband!  A real one, with makeup and nice clothes.
