Hello OH friends:)
I have to admit, I do not log on as often as I probably should...but I am so busy enjoyng my new found energy! I had my surgery on February 2nd, 2012 and let me just say it is by FAR the BEST thing I have EVER done for myself! I am currently down 96 lbs! I went from a size 26 pants to a 14 and a 4x top to a 12/14! I am able to shop in any clothing store, wear necklaces, ride a bicycle, walk without losing my breath, cross my legs..and the list goes on:) A lot of this journey is mental though. There are still days that I feel "fat":( I would like to lose another 30 lbs. or so by my 1 year surgiversary. There are days I would LOVE to sit and snack on my old favorites and find the temptation excruciating. (Notice I do NOT give in!) Then I think back 96 lbs ago..but the temptation is still hard. I wouldn't change my decision for anything and would definitely recommend vsg to anyone that is seriously committed to the lifestyle change that comes with it.
