Weekly Challenge - Friday Check in

So far so good on my goals.

Goal 1 was to exercise 2x at the gym and complete my Jazzercise class. Jazzercise down, but I haven't hit the gym yet. If I go both days this weekend I'll meet this one. We'll see. Probably at least once if my homework allows.

Goal 2 was to strategize on the weekends so I still hit my liquid/protein daily goals on Saturday and Sunday. I feel confident about the next two days.

Goal 3 was to relax. Got my hair done on Wednesday and it was fun and I feel great. I'm slowing working at unwinding. Tonight my honey works and I only have 1 of my 3 kids tonight so after she goes to bed I'm going to veg with a warm beverage, candles in the fireplace and a good horror movie.

My weekly challenge is to get over this vertigo crap. I need to get back to work and get back to running. I can't let you pass me at the Rock & Roll half, that can't happen,
I also need to get back on track with getting in the protein and liquids. With the meds that doc gave me, all I want to do is sleep. It's a little hard to get the liquids in when you're knocked out. I just hope I get over this in the next day or two because this SUCKS.

Mike - you can crawl this half faster than I can "run" it. I am praying to maintain a 11:30 pace if I am lucky...but with the hills, it's going to knock me down quite a bit. I am going to try and do a final hill training run before, but...

I'm still not getting enough sleep, but I did go to bed before midnight each night.  Now I need to try for 11pm...

I got home from plastics late Wednesday nigh. My only goal this week is to eat responsibly, track in Myfitnesspal and get enough rest. I'm down 15.5 pounds that came on two weeks ago with surgery. I want a few more gone. Focusing on protein and taking care of myself.

1-Stay hydrated, shooting for 80 ounces of liquids a day (barely made 64 today, but I'm not counting I.V. fluid) I've struggled with this all week. With the ER visit with Mike, to dealing with some pain and cramping, I missed my goal twice this week.

2- Rest and recuperate, right now I feel like crap. I've been sleeping in as much as possible. I had to stop the pain meds even though I need them. Someone in the house needs to be able to drive. Mike is still to dizzy to drive.

3-Prepare for a yard sale, lots of stuff needs to go away. Missed this one. We will try for next weekend.

4- And of course, get my protein in and even bump it up a bit to aid in my recovery. Missed the goal two days this week so far.

I still need to get as much rest as I can, my body is really mad at me right now. General anesthesia twice in a month has been tough.

 I managed to hit all but one of my goals. I missed doing crunches a couple days, so that is going back on the list for next week!
