Weekly Challenge - Friday Check in

My days are all screwed up this week but at least I am 100% certain its FRIDAY.

This week has been so-so - my scale is dropping all my excess pounds from ATL plus a few extra that popped up right before I left.

Goal wise -

Exercise - zero. I have been sick, no energy, full of excuses blah blah but im not trying to pu**** because I need to be back to 100% in 2 weeks.  I will get some exercise this weekend in one form or another.

Protein - I exceeded my expecations here - with the exception of some carbs in the morning, my days have been filled with primarily protein, and Ive hit at least 110 every day.

Hydration - well hydrated! Getting 120-160 oz a day (and ive cut way back on my coffee intake - i think since im sick, coffee other than starbucks tastes like crap)

I think overall - I am on track with meeting my goals. I wanted to find the track to get back onto - and I am almost there. I didnt expect perfection, but I have done well given the train wreck of a diet I was on for the week before.

I would eat the ass off a low flying duck right now.  I don't want any of the food i prepared and brought, what i want is a latte and if i go and have that i will put my face, my entire face into the pastry case.  Please let this moment pass.

I think I will be laughing too long to actually eat this morning...you crack me up!!!!

Thank heavens that starbucks has all the calories listed on their damn pastries...sometimes it is the ONLY thing that keeps me from ordering like...4 of them and having a party.

I dont want any of my food either but sadly, im too lazy to go find anything else. Win win I guess.

ok,

The ducks are safe...for the moment

I smelled cinnamon on one of the guys and asked him for  piece of his gum, that saved me for about an hour, then i went to get coffee but decided i'd walk around Trader Joes for a bit because i still didn't trust myself.

Anyhow i remember you Allison raving about some eggwhite salad.  Grabbed one, skipped the line to pay before i changed my mind, picked up a fork and started eating it on the street.  Crises averted.

You know i have very few of these days but how i hate them.  butif i would just eat what i had brought i could have averted it hours earlier.

That eggwhite salad is delish but expensive for such a small amount.  regardless it saved my life today.  Cake on a Friday would have meant a weekend of annoying struggle

Until the next crises...

I've warned all low-flying ducks to watch their asses!

Oh, for the days when just looking at the pastry case at Starbuck's would make me queasy.  Now I just strategically place other people between me and it.

I went to Starbucks with a friend o she could get a Latte today. I browsed the pastry case. I LOVE that they hav the calories because there's no Wu I would blow 1/2 days calories on something that I'd eat and forget, with no nutrition. I'd be sugar nuts anyhow if I do that,

I am one week postop. I was really sick last week.My goals this week are to increase my water intake to the min accepted of 64 oz (my sleeve was tight and swollen and angry til today, but much easier to drink today!) and to increase my protein to 60 gms per day. I will make it to 60 gms for the first time today!!! Small victories are sweet.

Doing well on this end, relaxing, enjoying vacation, staying on plan or close enough.

Having trouble getting water in though. Last two days have been better, but not great.
