Hello again from Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, France!  Today we explored 2 caves with some incredible pre-historic cave art (this area is known for it's prehistoric treasures including the discovery of Cro-Magnan man behind a hotel in the town we're staying), Foie gras, and a 1000 castles.

Oh My freaking LORD!!!  Have I told you lately how I now look forward to seeing your posts?  I don't get out much other than a 30 mile radius so seeing your pics from France are a breath of fresh air.  Gotta luv it... thanks for sharing Tom!!!

More than pleased to share, Jenn.  I love traveling, pretty much to anywhere, there's always something interesting to see or do!

In fact I'm sitting here arranging my next four trips - NY, SFO, Las Vegas and back to India - all in November.

Of course that's for business, but I usually manage a little fun wherever I go :)

I'm sure you already know how fortunate you are to be able to travel the world like that.  Too awesome for reals.
Dang all 4 trips in November???? I bet you are having a blast now being all skinny & seeing the sights, just sayin'  ;-)

The VSG seems like it came with a free "first class upgrade" :)  The seats sure fit better, especially on those 22 hour trips to India!

And my clothes are so much smaller that I can carry a smaller suitcase, and I don't sweat all the time so I can re-wear a shirt without doing laundry every day, and I can walk forever without getting tired.. and probably other travel-related NSVs that I can't even think of right now.

Your pictures are amazing!  I love to travel too and this is making me want to jump on a plane...

Where in India do you go?  I have to go a couple of times a year for work also.  We stay in Noida, which is just outside New Delhi.

The Taj Mahal is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Thanks - I've stayed in Noida too.  I've led a photo trip to Delhi/Jaipur/Jodhpur/Agra, and also did one in the south - Tamil Nadu and Kerala.  Now it's mostly for business.  I opened an office for my company in Bangalore (least interesting city, photo wise, in India :) )  - so I'm over there 4-6 times a year to keep things going.  We now have 30 employees.

Here's my best shot of the Taj - taken from behind - we used to go down behind the Taj and hire this boatman to take us across to the other side - due to terrorism threats, the route is blocked now by fences.
