Weekly Challenge - What's your non-scale related goal?

Good morning my friends! I am back - a little late but here we go - what's your goal this week?


1 - Find the track that I need to get back on....and try and get back on it. Baby steps. I am not going to expect myself to be perfect this week because - not happening, but my #1 focus is protein, protein, protein - protein first and above 100 g.

2. HYDRATE - never thought this would be an issue, but I am seriously dehydrated. In an effort to focus on this, im limiting myself to 2-3 cups of coffee. The rest is water/powerade.

3. 2 runs and 1 cross training session - i am looking forward to my yoga DVD actually, and getting an outside run in. I did "run" in Atlanta...but let's just say it was pathetic.


My last goal is to hunt down some friends and get a big giant hug!!! I had a super crazy, fun filled dramatic week and I miss all my friends!!

My non-scale goals this week are:

1.) Exercise. I didn't last week because our household was down a vehicle and my Jazzercise class was cancelled. But we're up and running with two cars now and I have no excuses. Will complete my Jazzercise class today and at least 2 additional trips to the gym by Sunday.

2.) Strategize on the weekends. It's not that I eat the wrong things or too much etc., I just get busy and don't eat much of anything. I rarely hit my protein or water goals on Saturday and Sunday. Will make a concerted effort to do so this week.

3.) Relax! I've been super overscheduled and stressed. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow and I'm going to relax and enjoy it!!

Geezuz gurl, I feel sick as a dog today.  Thanks to my friend last week for telling me AFTER we shared a drink that her kids were sick.  Muther F'er...

I need to drink a lot of water because I have been slacking and now it's important since I am under the weather.

I failed to log on MFP a couple times within the past couple of weeks so I lost my logging streak of approaching 300 days in a row.  I totally suck balls.

I just need to take care of myself more than anything.  I feel like crap, look like crap, etc... I need plenty of sleep which is something I am usually lacking for the most part.

I'm so glad you are back.  I missed you like crazy my friend!!!

Since Angi is dehydrated too - we should have a virtual drinking session today :)  We can all just DRINK up - in the non alcoholic, non caffeinated, non caloric kind of way ;)

Non alcoholic, non caffeinated way????  I'm not out of my mind gurl, I'm just sicky-poo!!!

A nice stiff drink just might put me to sleep which is what I need right now ... lol.

 lol thanks - but been stuck for over a week, and Vegas didn't help last week lol... But back on track today and hoping to see that scale budge again soon.

I'm on a liquid diet so I'm going to focus on getting my protein in and my liquids in. 

NSV--turning down foods that I love because I want to be healthy, such as French Onion Sun Chips, Dove chocolate bars and last night we were traveling, so we went to bob evans and I ordered the chicken noodle soup.  Not my favorite at all, but I mostly just drank the broth and I had decaf coffee.  All the while, I watched my husband eat rolls with butter, tea, turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatos with gravy. 

I'm trying.
