OK so the State Fair came and now has gone.... CAN I  JUST SAY I GOT TO RIDE THE RIDES THIS YEAR WITH MY DAUGHTER!! Something I haven't done in about 10 years.  Its amazing what -106 lbs can do for you... I'm ready to go to Kings Dominion now and see how many I can ride lol its been such a long time.  I cant believe how much "weight" can hold you back from doing. I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
glad I had the sleeve!

But on the other hand My boyfriend of 17 years off and on AKA Daughter's Father got on the scale the other day and he weighs 360lbs  If its the last thing I do they will BOTH be walking on the Treadmill soon I can promise you that! Any ideas how I can make that happen?? They are both tired of hearing my mouth about oh you should eat this or that and that or this would be better... I know he wont do it until hes ready but I know how it made me feel and he has to feel the same being FAT SUCKS

You are right about your boyfriend - there is nothing you can do until HE makes the decision to do something about it.

You mentioned getting your daughter on the treadmill - I don't know how old she is or if she has weight issues, but if you're concerned there, check out your local YMCA. All of our local ones have started a "get healthy" program that kids attend one or two nights a week. They spend 30 minutes a week or so in health information classes talking about proper nutrition, meal planning, making movement a part of your daily life, etc then spend the rest of the time in fun "active" activities. They even give rewards (prizes and things) to kids who best demonstrate and most represent "healthy" life choices. And none of it focuses on "weight." I know the one closest to me has even started getting their group together outside of their two nights to go do things like movies and amusement parks. Peer pressure is a phenomenal thing, and if everyone around her is focused on getting healthy, maybe she'll start picking up habits, too. My youngest brother and sister who are 14 have gotten involved in the group and love it. And on the plus side, my mom just had to order my sister all new blue jeans because the ones she got the beginning of the school year are now too big.

Even if she's not overweight (which it doesn't sound like to me, but I can't claim to be an expert), there's not a kid in the world that wouldn't benefit from learning to develop healthy lifestyle habits now, while their bodies are still fuel burning machines, rather than 10 years from now when they have to try to break a bunch of bad habits and drop 30 pounds to boot.

Our state fair starts this week. I'm hoping to be able to ride a couple things, but it might be next year before I'm little enough for that. Yay for you!

I am so proud of you!  Being able to ride rides, go to the movies (comfy), and fly (comfy) are some of my goals.
