Ready for Atlanta...not ready for the long flight to get there!
Okay, if I wasnt about to meet some of the most amazing people, I'd cancel this trip. I have major flying anxiety.
I spent all day at work wondering what kind of snacks I should pack on my carry on for my 5 hour flight. (not to mention the 2 hour drive to the airport and probably 1-1.5 hour wait there...) Nuts, jerky, protein bar...
And then tonight, I decided I better not even go there. Hello - stress eater + flying anxiety = a lot of calories way up there in the sky. I realized I wont die if I go 5 hours without eating - novel idea for me since I tend to eat every 2-3 hours, but I just...know myself.
I did pack some protein powder and a blender...because I'm crazy like that. And protein oatmeal for breakfast for the week. Oh, and all my running gear :)
Now someone just tell me I don't need a stiff drink on the plane lol. Early morning - here I come :)

I understand, I have major flying anxiety too. Plus, I tend to get motion sick in a plane. I don't do adult beverages on planes, it makes it worse. It will also dehydrate you at 30,000 feet.
I wear my acupressure wrist bands so I don't need the airsick bag (they are not big enough anyway). Then for take off & landing, I do deep breathing and pray.
I haven't needed to fly in a while, but that is about to change, not driving to see the grandchildren anymore. Three days each way is the pits. We spend more time driving that visiting. I will need to just grin and bare it.

See - the dehydration from the alcohol wont work fast enough. I'm sure Id have to pee first and I have a thing about NOT peeing on airplaes (#fatgirlpanic) I *might* even have to go 5 hours with no coffee (and after waking up at 4am tomorrow morning - that wont be pleasant haha).

Five hours without coffee?? omg - that was the first thing we scoped out here tonight. lol. You are a stronger woman than I!! If someone tries to take my coffee - it could get ugly up in here!
