2 month surgiversary
Loving my decision to have the surgery, learning more everyday, keeping my head in the game and always, always measuring before I eat ....AND UNDEREAT my sleeve.....thank you vets for that great advice.
Have had some ups and downs, I have been fortunate that so far I am recoginizing head hunger and have not had much, if any real hunger.
MFP has been a great asset and I would encourage everyone to track with some type of tool.
Mistakes, oh yeah...those too!! Going to the deli for sliced turkey and chicken and forgetting that I am only eating for one (small one) now, not twenty when I order; and a couple of incidents where I ate to fast and did not chew slowly....no foamies but very uncomfortable! And I am sure there will be more mistakes in my future as I work through this process!!!
I am a work in progress and I am enjoying this journey to better health.
A BIG THANK YOU to OH, vets and all who have shared their journey! Barb
