The BIGGEST challenge for me right now is to not "steal bites" from my kids desserts when we go out to eat on the weekends=) !!! We usually eat out at least twice on the weekends and I don't order my OWN dessert but the kids usually order ice cream or some cheesecake/creme pie tempting crapola that I want to devour....but I don't =) BUT I usually convince them to each give mom a "bite or two"....has it led to an all out binge or behavior of yesteryear...no! I just don't want to keep thinking it's "ok" to have this and that on our "outings". So this weekend (we have TWO birthday parties we're going to) I'm going to try to remain...dessert free!!...I'll let you know how it goes=)

This reminds me of a time when i was sitting in a WW meeting at 350+ lbs and thinking....who the F*** are these skinny *****es complaining about a 5-10 lbs gain over the holidays? One lady went in detail about how her 10 lsb was just licks and bites here and there and that's how she gained the weight. I thought she was full of crap...the concept was so foreign to me back then.
Now - HOLY CRAP - those little bites add up. I try and convince myself if it's a bite or two, it doesnt matter. But when I do that 2-3 times a day, over a week, adds up to a sizeable amount.
I think I might add this back to my list of goals - i was working on it before, but ive been sliding back.

1) to try and make it through the week without any more injuries... I swear, this has been the month for bumps, bruises, and muscle strains! Even tonight I twisted my ankle getting off of a treadmill and then bruised my knee while stretching (yeah, it took talent... and I'm becoming more and more of a clutz! What can I say???)
2) Stay 100% on plan this week
3) hopefully have a nice, steady loss between now and Saturday... Saturday is six months for me! Of course I know this means I probably won't lose another ounce this week lol. Eh. Whatever.
