My goals this week:
1. minimum 9 glasses of water every day
2. 30 minutes of walking/ running... anything to get my butt moving
3. watch my carbs, try to stay under 40 carbs but still eat until im full and satisfied... then stop!
4. drink 1 protein drink each day to meet my protein goals

i am over halfway to my goal, but being almost 9 months out,  these last 47 lbs are stinking difficult! i wish i could be over thinking about it but its on the top of my mind 24/7.

1 - Get below 200Lbs
2 - Complete all my open action items at work (stress makes me hungery)
3 - Ask my Husband to weight me every week and hold me accountable for my progress (eek...did I just say that out loud)

I need to work on #2....I need to get to the bottom of the stress instead of covering it up!

I would recommend avoiding setting # related goals since we can't always accomplish those in a set time frame - we can only control what we do, not the scale :-p

I'm so damn jealous of all y'all exercising and hanging out in person!! Any Puget Sound groups around?? Or people who would like to meet up for like minded fun outings or exercise?

Rant over!

Goals for the week

1. Exercise 2 times midweek and 2 times weekend
2. Use slow time at work to catch up on work obligations stressing me out
3. Stay low stress-I think its effecting my immune health, have had a cold for weeks

Thanks Alison for always putting your positive attitude out there for us even at times your feeling not so positive! Appreciated.

Hi Sara,
I have not been able to make a support meeting since surgery, because of my silly schedule. Do you attend support groups there? I'll look on the calendar to see if they have any events coming up. I was there today for my three month check up.
I'm really feeling like I need to join up with some people who have the same life intentions!

Let me know what you think of the support group, you can Private message me if you like.

:) Renee

mine is straight up weight loss. I switched to soft solids, rocked all weekend and can begin to kick up my exercise this week. I dropped 3.4lbs Friday-Monday. I'm looking for another 3.6 by Friday and to have a 7lb week. That will get me halfway to goal!

1.) Exercise! Go to the gym 3 days this week (joined again today ), whi*****ludes swimming, additional cardio and strength training. Also start my Jazzercise class Tuesday.

2.) Take responsibility for my own emotions and not let others (one person in particular) drag me down. I can't control him, but can control how I react to his negativity and criticism.

4.) Take 15 minutes a day to be by myself and do nothing.

You will LOVE Jazzercise!!!  I started going in May and go weekdays!!  I hate it if I have to miss a class because I enjoy it so much.  I have toned so much in my arms and shoulders and chest especially since starting it...LOVE IT!

I think I am afraid to plan because I have failed my plans so often
