Finally tried some Walden Farms products...
I got some Alfredo Sauce, HoneyBBQ sauce, and Chipotle Mayo. Havent' tried the mayo yet..
But I made chicken alfredo today - a packet of tofu shirataki noodles (40 cal for about 2 cups of noodles), 2 oz of rotisserie chicken shredded up, and some 0 cal Alfredo Sauce. It was decent. It was pretty sweet (they put splenda in it..dont ask me!) but I saved it with some salt and pepper. I will definitely eat it again -overall Id say worth the $5 I paid.
Honey BBQ - not so much. It gets really just an "ok". Put it on some chicken and it was just....alright at best. I dont think I'll buy it again, but I am going to try and use it as a marinade rather than a sauce and see if it gets any better.
Jenn told me the mayo wsnt very good - I'm going to use it when I make egg white salad later this week, so im hoping it will do the trick and save me the 70 or so cal from my light mayo.
I also got to try some protein oatmeal from Angi tonight and OMG i'm totally sold. I was skeptical wondering how protein and oatmeal even go in the same sentence but this stuff is great!! I added some SF brown sugar cinnamin syrup, and it was perfect!!
Now that I am officially side lined with an injury, I'm going to try and have a low cal/low carb kind of week to compensate for my lack of exercise. I have some good options at least to get me started :)

BTW, if you like the idea of protein oatmeal, Quaker Oats also makes "Weight Management" instant oatmeal which is very low low in sugar and moderately high in protein. It's NOT as as high protein as the one I saw mentioned in a post recently but it is readily available on the supermarket shelf and you can always add a bit of protein powder to bump it up, if you desire. Comes in several different flavors.
I hope the mayo is a matter of taste and that it works for you.

Im wondering how it would work to add the protein powder to the oatmeal with ho****er - would i have the same issue as adding straight powder to my hot cofee (i usually have to mix it with my almond milk 1st)

You've gotten some good answers already that mirror what I would have said.
Isopure and Synthrax unflavored protein powders seems to have less likelihood of clumping if you add them gradually into hot things. However, if you had room temperature or warm liquid to them gradually, it does work better.
The trick to adding to the liquid is to sprinkle on top, in very small quantities.

Did you get the Walden farms online? It ****** me off that i live in this huge metropolis and i can't go to the grocery store and buy them/ i looked it up and Ralphs is supposed to carry them, I've been to 3 with no luck,, also Bristol farms. I want to look at them. So, I'm hoping you're gonna tell me you found them in store. Sorry about your injury. You seem to be going through some trials lately. Keep the faith.
Hahah my life is slowly falling apart. Hopefully having 6-8 weeks off with no stress with do me some good (except I can imagine it will bring its own host of problems)
Angi introduced to a miracle shop call "miss bobbies" in old town Tustin (Orange County) that sells a whole big shelf of low carb and walden farms products!! It's amazing and they have a little cafe too you can eat from! If you want to plan a trip - i'll totally go with you/meet you there for a little lunch and shopping :)

Oh cool, that's the place shag was raving about the other day. Doesn't it **** you off that you can't go to the grocery store since Walden insists it's available in them. I did see some Walden cereal but i want the caramel sauce.
Tustin will work when the f***ing weather lets up. I am so over it.
I'm glad you have some time off. It really sounded like you needed to ease up on the stress.
It's been quite a year, changes, good or bad can be hard. Thinking of you.
I want to get that banana mocha thingy Shag had.
