What are the best recommended Vitamins post op liquid and chewable?

I'm looking for a good multi vitamin, Calcuim, Magnesesium Citrate.  Vitamin D, Iron Bisglycinate.   I was looking at a lot of chewable multiviatmins but I noticed many don't have enoguh vitamin B.  So also a good B Complex if there's no chewables mutlivitiimans out there to get enough B.

Hi there...

I used Centrum Chewables for the first 3 wks.  Now I am taking Petite Vitamins I can swallow....much easier!!!  Also take Citrium Caltrate 3x's a day
and B12 under my tongue.
That's my regime so far.....oh, and I take BIOTIN 5,000 mg twice a day!

Hope that help you!

Have a super day,

I couldn't tolerate the expensive Bariatric vitamins my doctor sold me. So my vitamin regimen goes like this;
3 Vitafusion Multi Vites Gummy Vitamins,
2 Vitafusion Vitamin D3 Gummy Vitamins 2000 IU,
2 Vitafusion Calcium Gummy Vitamins 500mg,
1 Nature's Bounty Sublingual Vitamin B-12 5000mcg.

You always supplement with an extra B12, either by injection or sublingual. You also need an extra calcium vitamin.

The only thing that was low on my 6 month labs was my D levels so that's why I take the extra Vitamin D.

But this is what I've taken since my first month and I'm good.

Thank you.
I also have low levels of D and I'm preop.  I'm taking 3,000 IU of D now.

So one of our support group meetings we were told no gummys. It is missing something important. I forget what they important thing was but when I checked my gummys at home sure enough it was missing the key ingredient.

Yeah I heard that too at the support group a few months ago.  I can't remember what it was missing either.  That's why I knew in my head not to just buy any one.    When I called Donna about the gallbladder question I also asked her about vitamins and she said that Ann will go over it in the class.  So you will know when you go Monday than you can let me know.  :-)

I bought Celebrate bariatic vitamins but post-op they made me extremely sick every single time. After a week of thinking it might go away, I returned them. I have been taking Flinstones Complete (the "complete" ones are the only ones that have everything we need, so be careful about which variety you pick up) and an iron supplement. I take the flinstones twice a day and the iron every other day. I think the bariatric vitamins just had too big of a dose and that combined with very little food in my tiny tummy post op was what caused the nausea. If you're interested in trying the bariatric vitamins (which is probbly your best bet for at least the first 3 months after surgery), see if there's some way to get samples and try them out before you order.
