I've always wanted to ride a segway, but the weight limit was 300. Well, since I'm well below 200 now AND there was a Living Social for a tour of the city on a Segway... this is what I did today! Totally fun and I would totally do it again!

It was a LOT of fun. Highly recommended. It was a bit of awkward at first to figure out how to use that darn thing, but it was fun once we got going. I nearly busted my butt clipping the sidewalk though. LOL. It's more work than it looks like, especially when you're not used to it. upper legs got a little bit of a workout for sure :)

Thanks, I need to do real photos again soon. I had to look at that photo twice on my husband's phone to really believe it's me... so crazy from my starting photos... I am having a professional headshot done again next month, I'm excited to see how different it looks from the one I'm using now (my avatar) and the one I had one two years ago too!

Ooh, loving the Skinny ***** Bucket List!  I should make my own list. :D  Good for you!  So, how hard are those to ride?  I was terrified I'd just do a big ol' faceplant.

I have several weird and scary things on that list. LOL. I'm doing them one by one though!

It was easier than I thought, but took more work than I thought too... especially going up and down sidewalks, bumps and avoiding hitting people. We did have one lady in our group that couldn't stop and ended up falling off of hers (going butt over head) which slowed us down for 30 minutes while we made sure she was okay and they called someone to come get her. Poor thing! We were all a little overly careful after that for sure.

It was really cool to ride it all over downtown though. I'd do it again.

So neat!  I think riding a segway would be fun.  I also would really love to go horseback riding, which I have avoided out of pity for the horse. ;)  I'd love to go ziplining and hang gliding and all sorts of other things.  What else is on your list, if you don't mind sharing?

Indoor sky diving (no way I'm jumping out of a moving plane on purpose)
Roller coasters (am I REALLY afraid or just how I dealt with not fitting?)
A whole day at Schlitterbahn without worrying about fitting or getting stuck on a water ride
Run a 5k all the way (may not be possible with my poor knees though)
Complete a triatholon
White water rafting
Go Karts
Tandem bicycling
Roller skate as an adult
Ice skating
Ziplining

That's most of them. It's not a written list, just a list in my head :) There's a few local type things I want to do with hubby too that we're planning, like the duck tour thing and I want to do a river cruise to see the bats, etc.
