Post so I can see my ticker... also, HOW am I doing this??
Dude... that dang slow purple dolphin in my ticker is moving at a pretty darn good clip. I'm waiting until she hits 200 lost to decide if I want a new goal or not.
In the meantime though... WHAT IN THE HELL AM I DOING RIGHT? I'm NOT complaining, I'm just trying to figure out what on Earth I'm doing right right now because I've had THREE consecutive weeks of losses. I'm trying to analyze my food logs, but beyond eating some crap I "shouldn't" more often, there's really no big difference. Although I did start back on protein shakes for breakfast in earnest. Not sure if it's a combo of actually needing a little more carbs than I was allowing myself or the shakes or both or what.
So, my pattern has always been lose 2-3 pounds one week, nothing the next. lose 2-3 pounds, nothing, etc etc etc. But so far this week, since Tuesday, I've lost FOUR pounds. I lost 3 pounds each week for the two weeks before that. I whizzed by 199 and have kept going. I'm freaking 193.6 this morning.
I get a nasty feeling that I have a MAJOR stall coming up because my body is going to put the brakes on this pretty soon. But wow... what a crazy freaking ride.
FTR, I'm still obese (just barely... Another 8 pounds and I'm just "overweight") and I started at 375 so while my monthly and weekly losses have been more than some, it's a percentage thing, but this past 3 week streak has been crazy amazing.
My weekly and monthly numbers are in my profile (scroll ALL the way down)

Hey Candy.............you're doing GREAT!!! Can't argue with success, that's for sure.
I'm losing so slowly that I feel like a slug in mud. And I'm only 9 weeks out when I SHOULD be losing like crazy! When you figure out your secret, let us know!!
Keep workin' that sleeve!

Ours is not to question.... LOL!
My guess is it's the protein. Whenever I push the good, lean protein up and leave it there I drop. That's the reason I won't give up my protein shake in the morning. It's the easiest way to get in enough protein. I'm not sure I could eat it all yet.
Enjoy your loss for what it is. Keeping my fingers crossed that you don't have a horrible stall in the near future. But if you do, just remember those last 10 to 20 pounds can be a ***** with a capital B, to get off. My last 10 were work.

Yeah, I'm guessing protein too and just overall not stressing as much. I'm kind of in a "whatever" mood the past month. LOL.
Yeah, not sure where the stall will happen or when it will get super hard. The upper limit of my BMI is around 150, so we'll see what happens over the next 20 pounds or so.

I think you know I never got to my "normal" bmi. I range between 10 to 13 pounds above that. I think body composition is a better actual guide. My body fat was 18% last time I measured. My jeans are a 30 inch waist. I'm not overweight. Only the charts say I am.
150 may be too small for you. You'll have to decide. You're right to just go with it for now. I'm interested to see where you end up. It's such a personal thing. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to goal range. I had a pretty intense time wrapping my head around that and not getting to a "normal" BMI range - especially since so many people here emphasize it so strongly.
Anyhow, it won't be long now and you'll be at goal. That you have lost almost 200 pounds is awesome - in the true sense of the word - awe inspiring.
You are kicking some major ass!
