OMG, I feel your pain on the sneeze!!! I did it twice and thought Jack the ripper was trying to shred my innerds! LOL...... I called the Dr both times and sure enough he said I  just popped a couple of those internal stitches when I did it.....Thank God, now I do anything and everthing to avoid sneezing...lol....and yes I worked thru the pain in my stomach :)

YES.  That ******g internal stitch sucked if I moved the wrong way.  I generally just tried to figure out what tended to aggravate it and stopped doing whatever that was. haha  I can say that now, as of about 5 weeks out, I really don't feel it anymore.

I have been looking up causes of my pain and I am not finding anything similar to my situation. At this point, I am 4 wks po and had minor pain up until a few days ago. Since then I have had severe back pain and when I lie down, move, sit, really just be awake, I am having pain and a slight burning sensation where I have internal sutures. I asked the surgeon about it when I went in for my first po and he said it was normal and to keep moving. I did that and it worked for about a week, all I really did was walk. Now though it's getting more intense, frequent, and I'm unable to sleep.

I don't want to call his office and be one of "those patients" every time I have pain if this is normal but I really haven't seen anything like this. A heating pad does help a little but I have to keep constant heat around my entire right side and that's just impractical- not to mention unsafe.

What do you guys think?
