Weekly Challenge - What's your goal?

I'm not sure that not killing your old boss, drinking shakes and wearing 11/2 inch heels is the best combo for you, but i have faith.  

My goal this week after taking the entire summer (3 months off) in Europe and eating what i wanted and still coming home weighing what i did when i went is to do the 5 day pouch test, reset my hunger and get rid of the cravings and get back down to basics.  Sipping on my first shake in 10 months.  I will never understand how folks actually like these but it's all good.

Maybe Jenn and I need to have a protein shake party for you so you discovery the hidden goodness of  cake batter, mint cookie, double stuff cookie, and Torani SF flavor protein shakes. I made SF rasberry and SF chocolate this weekend and loved it!

It takes a while to experiment - not sure how you drink yours, but blended with ice usually makes shakes taste better. There's no protein powder that ive ever tasted that is acceptable shaken :-p

I hate them couldn't wait to get off them..  Okay that's not really true, i was fine with them and yes i am lazy so I'm a shaker, but the thing that always eluded me, and i feel really cheated when i read you and Jenn and Mom for Jazz's posts, is that i am just as hungry after as before and while i have good restriction, if i was to do a shake instead of a meal I'd be eating 15 mins later, it's like water to me, so yes this week I'm doing the 5 day pouch test after a summer of limited bacchanalia and feeling really jealous of you people who not only love a good shake but feel satisfied after on.  *****es!

The ironic part is that shakes are so much better for me because they are liquid and they help reduce my acid - when I eat, i produce too much acid and im "hungry" pretty quick. When I do shakes, my stomach isnt producing acid, or producing as much, and I can go all day with no hunger. I think when I blend it with ice and its milk shake consistency - helps with feeling satisfied too since it's thicker. Just a thought. Hey - not everyone can be crazy about protein shakes like me and Jenn - so eat up the dense protein :)

Happy Goal Setting Day!

I taking an easy week goal-wise.............

Goal 1:  refinish my potting bench -- outdoors w/fresh air, arm muscles workout with the
               sanding...........no aerobic, but better than nothing.

Goal 2:  stay off the $%^&* scale because it's driving me crazy only begrudgingly coughing up
               a pound every once in a while. I'll weigh again Friday.

Goal 3:  drink more fluids -- I feel that's all I do sometimes, but I have to try harder.

Goa 4:  Continue my 3 times a week fitness center workouts -- 60 minutes minimum.

Increase liquids to 100 oz (I have been getting about 72 oz liquids)
Increase protein to 90g (I have been between 65-75g)
Continue to use myfitnesspal daily (add me if you're on there - wildcatnyc)

I just wanna stay on track like I have been... calories under 800, carbs under 30. I really wish I could motivate myself to do more strenuous exercise besides walking right now. It would probably help me deal with some stress I have going on right now. Maybe I just need to buy a punching bag?? A really big one?!?!?!
