Weekly Challenge - What's your goal?
I hope everyone had a great week last week - let us know how your goals turned out.
I finished week 3 of my 1/2 marathon training, but flunked the "stay off the scale" goal. I did manage to beat the scale at it's game - it gave me some horrible news, so I went out and ran, and set some pretty good records for myself.
But, I'm officially in a little freak out mode over the scale, so I'm scaling back my calories and carbs this week. My goal for the week is to stay between 900-1100 calories. I am doing this by cutting out an afternoon snack that I don't need and have been eating for no reason at all. NO MORE EATING AFTER 8pm. I put a big sign on my door so im not even tempted to go downstairs to the kitchen for an evening snack. I put some powerade in my room so I dont have any reason to go in the kitchen. d
My 2nd goal is to complete week 4 with 15 miles this week - includes a 10K race on Saturday with Ms Shell that i'm excited about.
So really - my overall goal is just to end this freakout mode, but baby steps...

I didn't post any goals last week, but realize how important it is....so I'm back!
I'm 6 weeks post op today and based on the scale the last few days, I think I"m hitting my first stall :-(
So here are my goals for the week.
1- Don't freak out about the scale!
2 - Continue working on getting more water in...everyday!!!
3 - Now that my back has healed, i need to add some cardio in. I'm going to set a low goal of getting on the treadmill at least three times this week!
4- Add a second shake in the evenings if I'm low on my protein for the day. I've had too many days of saying "being low one day won't hurt".

I am bad at goal keeping and posting goals.
My goal this week is to change the rut i have gotten into. NO MORE TWIZZLERS. I will replace the 3-4 twizzlers I eat every eventing with a grapefruit.
Drink more water.
Finish my carb-crusher book
Walk my dog everyday.
Get in more protein.

I like this post! I've been needing someone to be there for my accountability. My goal is to reach 215lbs by the end of the week. I'm at 218.4lbs this morning. Plus, I am going to try to reduce my carbs. They have got me in trouble for the last month. I only lost 2.4lbs last month, but its my own fault. I am going to water aerobics 3 times this week, and I'm going to try to go to the gym for cardio for the other 2 days starting tonight after work. Thank you for this post!!

Because I'm too effing nice, DAMNIT and couldn't say F*** no, I am consulting at my old job this week and 3 weeks in in September and 3 months in January (subbing in for a co-worker that's going on maternity leave. )
My goal this week is to survive. Not kill my old boss. And not get the effing cold my husband brought home.
One the plus side (not literally plus anymore *grins*) I get to wear my really cute clothes and a pencil skirt with heels (1 1/2' inch heels Edelu - that's a lot of heel for me.) EEK!
Otherwise, I winging the rest.
