Getting excited for Halloween!!!

I have not - at least since i was 11-12 yrs old - worn a costume. Even then - it was a typical "fat kid" costume.

Last year I was still a size 22/24 or so and I didnt bother trying to find a plus size costume. BUT I am super excited to be able to actually go out and go shopping for a costume (or even ordeirng one online and having a reasonable probability of it fitting )

Sooo I need some ideas - I already have NEXT years costume planned (since I will be post plastics and dont have to worry about hiding my thighs haha) but for now....

I need one costume that I might be able to run my 1/2 marathon in and one for actual halloween parties. For the running one - it will have to involve running capris and light weight/breathable material and be sports bra friendly.

But I'm at a loss at ideas for costumes in general - a whole new part of life i havent thought about for too many years. Soo - dear friends - help me!

This is going to sound totally dorky, but I still have my old cheerleading uniform from middle school. I was about 150 pounds when I last wore it, and I think my body composition is improved enough now over then that I will probably be wearing that this coming Halloween, whether I'm at 150 by then or not. In fact, it looks like it'll be a bit big by then. Can't wait

Id totally wear it too!! Id probably just wear it around the house too hahah. I dont think its dorky. Or even if it is - we are allowed to be dorks.

I didn't think about my old cheerleading skirt. I wore it a few years ago when I first got to goal and will have to try it on when I get home!!

Do you want to do something on Halloween? We could go shopping for costumes and then run around in them on Halloween!. I think WeHo has a lot of halloween stuff going on. Or if you want something more family friendly - we could find something.

I can't WAIT for Halloween next year (post boob lift), I want to do something totally ****ty. Yep I said it. LOL.

I actually really like to do Pop Culture type costumes. The year before last the Chilean miners thing had just happened so my hubby and I dressed up as the Miners. It was so hilarious.

This year I'm probably going to be Michelle Bachmann or Sarah Palin. Complete with all the things they say incorporated into the evening.
