Congratulations on your success!!! Life is definitely better after the VSG and loss of all the excess baggage. WLS has truly been a gift.

Diane, I say the same thing every single day of my life.  I am so incredibly grateful for this new life, it sometimes just reduces me to tears.  Thank you for making me smile.  I don't think people who have never been heavy could understand how the weight influenced every single part of my being in the world.

Diane, just so you know, the hippo you gave me sits on my work desk and is a daily reminder of where I came from and why I never want to go back there again.  It also helps to remind me and connect me to the WLS community and Dr. Cirangle and his groups.  I don't know if I ever thanked you, but I am sure I didn't thank you enough.

I can't wait to see the pictures from your new projects!

Wonderful post, Diane!

I can't believe how much I missed out on because of my weight. And also, just how much easier everyday life has become. A year ago I huffed and puffed bending over to tie my shoes. Today I "jogged" over 3 miles in just half an hour. I can keep up with my dogs like never before and they now get tired before I do. Who would have thought!!!!

Glad you had such a great thought today and decided to share it!
