Fast Food??
I like to eat the chicken from Pollo Loco with their mild salsa and mixed veggies. Chipotle is another good option. I love their steak salads without dressing.
I also dont eat fast food much, I dont think I ever really thought about it but yeah, I do try to avoid it for the most part. I have gotten an In'n'Out protein style cheeseburger with mustard (no spread) like twice within the past few months. It's not the healthiest option but when doing low carb, I can fit it into my plan.

Nik (bariatricfoodie.blogspot.com) did a piece on fast food just a little while ago.
My fast food has been limited to Boston Market's rotisserie chicken and Wendy's half of a chicken/pecan/apple salad. I've never cared much for their chili.

Emelar,
Just curious--how is that chicken/pecan/apple salad at Wendy's? The stats look pretty good.
Thanks!

I eat it once a week and have pretty much since I could go to a regular diet, I am of the opinion that if you are smart about it you can have it. We eat out once a week, every thrusday night, and I plan my day out in the morning and find the nutrition stats for where ever we are eating that night online and plan out what I am going to have so that it fits into my day.
It might not be popular, but I have done it from the start and been successful with it because I plan ahead, I can eat anywhere from McD's to a fancy resturant as long as I know what's going down.
If I am ever on the road and I get suprised with having to stop to eat for some reason, I usually look for a food store rather then a resturant so I can get something I know is safe (can of tuna, deli meat, cheese, yogurt etc).
