Yeah. I think in some ways we set ourselves up for failure thinking "well that's all I'll lose". I think effort and just keeping going is a real big part of it. Like I said up there somewhere, I've taken a few times a week or two at a time and put myself into maintenance just so I could get a mental health break. It's hard work to keep at it 100% all the time. xoxo

Thank you. I sometimes see myself in the mirror and do a double take wondering who that is. I look - and more importantly, feel... so different :)

Congratulations Candy!!!  What an awesome accomplishment!  Thanks for sharing your story.  I too plan to read your blog.  You totally described my losing pattern, as well.  I'm at a point now where I realize the ups and downs are normal for me.  At first, the old feelings of guilt and shame would come over me, but now it's more like 'that's normal', though I do look closely at what I've eaten, if exercise is lacking, etc.. not to beat up on myself, but to be accountable and see if I need to do something different.  Thanks again!  Mary

Yeah, I think getting past the head games is the hard part. I still look at people that are my size or bigger and think I'm bigger than they are. My brain hasn't quite caught up to the reality.

Yup. Giving up is losing, in my book. I've been very lucky in that I've managed to keep my head mostly in the game. It's a daily struggle sometimes, but we got this!

Damn, girl! I am outrageously happy for you! You have so worked wonders with your sleeve and weight loss! You're one of my heroes on OH.

I love that you keep it so real, too! So many want to be perfect all the time and it's just not reasonable for most people. Some can do it, but they I think are the minority. Seeing people like you who honestly share your 90/10 philosophy really do a service to those of us who aren't "perfect" 100% of the time.

During WL I tried to be as perfect as I could, but wasn't always. Now I stick to the 90/10 philosophy unless I'm up a little. Then it's right back on track.

Thanks for posting and being such an inspiration! Congratulations!
