one year anniversary!!!!
Well I made it, to my one year, WOW this past year has been so full of ups and downs, but mostly ups...
Ive lost 133 lbs cant belive it, and I still am losing, but at a slower rate, I average 4lbs per month now, but I'm still moving in the right direction, Im 14lbs away from my surgeons goal for me. I wanted to be at goal by my one year, and I didnt make it, but Im still happy with my progress, and Im still happy I had this surgery. would not go back to the way I was last year. cant believe all the things I gave up to my weight even the little things, like crossing my legs, wearing boots and belts, walking up stairs without being SOB, and sooo many more things. VSG gave it all back to me!
Im very thankful to my surgeon and her team, my ins company,(even though they threw up some hurdles) and all the people that supported me along the way including all of you.
I have my one year appt tomorrow but so far Im doing well with my labs.
Hope you all are hanging in there, and thanks again for being here in the low times I truly could not have done this without OH and my family
If you are on the fence about VSG, you are in a good place to get all the answers to your questions, I cant say its right for everyone, but it was right for me, my only regret is that I waited so long to do it, I wish you all success..........Connie

Goal 1: Get under 300 (Reached as of 11/15/2011 299.4 Baby)
Goal 2- Get under 200 (Reached as of 08/29/2012 199.2 Baby)
Goal 3- Get to 160
Debbie M,so glad for you I would recommend Dr Choban to anyone, she is great, I wish you a safe surgery and quick recovery, cant wait to see your progress. do you have a date yet?
